☀️🌑The much anticipated 2024 Solar Eclipse is happening today and we just want to reiterate some dos and don’ts for solar photography to save your camera AND your eyesight. Do: - Wear protective solar glasses when looking at the Sun during partial eclipse. - Use a solar filter when aiming your camera and lens at the sun during a partial eclipse (you must remove the filter ONLY during the total eclipse). Do NOT: - Point a digital camera of any kind at the sun without a filter! - Stare up at the sun without any kind of protective glasses! - Look through the viewfinder of an unfiltered SLR camera at the sun! - Look through the viewfinder of a rangefinder camera at the sun!
