Three years ago, I was in a foul, cranky mood, and decided to go for a walk around the Upper East Side. boldceo and I wandered into an inourhandsrescue adoption vehicle on 86th Street and saw this little face. I just wanted to look and get out of my funk. Brian convinced me we should bring her home. So we did, and life has been so much better ever since. Normally I’m stubborn, but I’m so glad I gave in that day. You’ll always be our first-born, Ellie. You’ve cured every bad mood I’ve ever had since that day three years ago, and I’m so grateful.
