Week 38 of pregnancy and everything suddenly feels...weird. My brain feels foggy, I feel inexplicably emotional, and my skin has gone off the rails. On the one hand, I feel calm about everything. I’m not anxious about labor, and even though I know life is about to change in major and crazy ways, I’m more eager and excited than terrified or nervous. And yet, last night, the second my head hit my pillow, I burst into tears and couldn’t stop crying. I have no idea why. So yeah, I think the only word I have for how I feel right now is weird.
