Only a few so-psyched-we’re-squinty post-appointment selfies left! Baby Cristiano is officially due ONE MONTH from today! According to today’s scan (high five for our midwife’s office being open on a Sunday!), little girl is measuring around 4 lbs. 9 oz., and everything looks good. She’s head down (yay!), her breathing movements “look perfect” (super yay!), and she’s probably cute, but she continues to cover her little face with her little hands, so 🤷🏼‍♀️. (Also fun fact, that Group B Strep Test you do at 35-36 weeks? Not a throat swab!) . Behind the goofy grin: I was actually nervous for today’s appointment. I haven’t been nervous since we got past the Week 12 appointment, but baby has been measuring small for a little while now, and even though the midwife and doctors and amazing ultrasound technician (I’m obsessed with her) have assured me everything looks great, it has started to worry me a bit.
