Today, Ellie slept in until almost 10 AM, and then took a long nap in the car. Then she spent three hours playing and swimming at “the good doggy park.” On the way home — before she napped some more — she got to see some giraffes, and then got a cup of vanilla ice cream. And we both peed in the woods a lot. Sunday Funday, indeed. . (The giraffe part was sad, because they were part of a circus thing we drove by, and that is not a good life for giraffes. But Ellie seemed to think they were cool from afar. And later tonight, we will go back sneakily and free them and fly them to Africa where they can have lovely, spacious lives!
