I stand by my declaration that Stacey McGill was the best member of The Baby-Sitters Club, but I will [somewhat reluctantly] entertain arguments about why the others were awesome, too. I’ll start. Kristy was a BOSS, Claudia was a terrible speller (ugh) but she was creative, Mary Anne had an OMG boyfriend, Dawn was, I think, a bit of a stoner (her mom definitely was...), Jessi was a dancer (!!!), and honestly I can’t remember much about Mallory except that she had a big family. So good for her. But Stacey? Stacey was from NEW YORK CITY, she made diabetes chic AF, and she was *boy crazy.* I loved her and her cool FASHION and her BFFship with Charlotte Johanssen.
