Wishing the HAPPIEST ANNIVERSARY to my favorite person, boldceo. Year 1 of marriage was easy. We went to Africa, got a puppy, moved to New Jersey, and had dinner together at least six times. Year 2 has been tougher. (I know, I know, these posts are supposed to be totally sappy and sweet and not at all fully honest. My bad!) I've been sick, you've been working nonstop, and I've had some intense moments of questioning myself, my worth, my values, and my dreams. But throughout all of this (and all the tears, bathroom drama, and Ambien that have gone with it), your love and support have never wavered. I tend to think I'm the rock in this relationship, but the reality is, you're the giant boulder the rock slams into every time a surprise wind blows or a big wave knocks it over. Turns out, even the mightiest rocks are not always sturdy. (And sometimes they have Crohn's disease.) You're the steady one, the loving one, and the unintentionally funny one.
