I was determined to wake up and run before my flight this morning. So I got up extra early and got out the door...only to have to immediately bolt to the bathroom...and then straight to the bathroom again. It's easy to say I'll keep trying and keep running through life's tougher moments, but it's sometimes hard to actually make it happen. The upside? After shedding a few tears of frustration and throwing my shoes and watch against the wall, I crawled back into bed with briancristiano and Ellie. Kisses may not be the cure, but they help me feel a little less crappy. And for my next trick, I'll attempt a six-hour cross-country flight to Los Angeles. (The second — and far more emotional — tears of the day came at the airport when I had to kiss Ellie goodbye. Those tears haven't stopped yet, actually.) #elliegolden
