PECANS. Now, I’m not giving you an excuse to eat an entire pecan pie. However, adding one handful of unsweetened and unsalted pecans (about 15 halves a serving) a day provides the healthy fats your heart loves and helps reduce blood pressure. Of course, there can be too much of a good thing since pecans have a high calorie count so be mindful of the servings you’re having.
