#DatsyukWatchPB DATSYUK unloads a picture perfect backhander. A stickhandling skill we all must learn - having the puck stay on the backhand heel away from the body. Constant little blade angle adjustments to keep it there as you change directions will allow you to: 1) Protect puck 2) Release with more accuracy 3) Release with more power 4) Release quicker. Practice skating around the ice with the puck just on the backhand side as you turn. Build up speed, then go into the glide. Weight on inside foot.
