Jake Mooney has some of the sickest hands I have ever seen. I was his linemate for 5 years, and he was the guy who got me really fired up about stickhandling. We played on the North York Knights in the biggest Minor Hockey League in the world (gthlhockey). Watching this guy have the puck on his stick in games was magical. He would always lead the team in points and was an incredible set up guy with crazy vision. He always knew where to find me. Jake and I would spent our free time dreaming up creative shootout moves to do. It started with us breaking down the Sam Gagner move, then the Datsyuk move. He was the first to pull off the Gagner, and I was the first to pull of the Datsyuk. Healthy compeition! The best thing I can say about Jake was his attitude.
