Today: choose kindness. I cannot recall a time in my life where I regretted choosing kindness. Sure. There have been times where I was kind and someone did not appreciate it or the end result was not what I hoped for. But, I never lay down in bed at night and stare at the ceiling and say: “damn, I should have been meaner”. But there are nights where I say to myself: “we could have been nicer, we could have chosen to be kinder, and going forward we will do better.” The world can be harsh enough on its own without us adding to it.
