Training intensity. Finding the way to push past mental barriers and physical pain. To push through this I like to use mental games. One is to pretend there is a gun to my head. I ask myself "could I get one more rep with solid form if my life depended on it." The answer is usually, "okay 1 more." To take this even further, what if your parent, spouse or siblings life was on the life. Would you do another rep? Two? Three? I don't always go to areas of negative motivation, but they tend to work when needed. Stay positive in life, but this is one example of a negative motivator you can use to find your true limits.
