I have found that the best way to develop strength💪, explosiveness🧨, stability😤, and power🏎💨 from the bottom position - while not destroying the joints and ligaments in your elbow, wrist, and shoulder area is to perform these push-up repetitions with a controlled eccentric contraction (slow ⬇️on the way down) and fast concentric contraction (fast⬆️on the way up) and not passing the 90 degree elbow joint angle.
