Manchester is made better by the multiculturalism of the city, the mix of backgrounds and beliefs is fundamental to the city and its history. And it should be a huge part of its future. If you cannot see a non-white family on a TV advert without losing you mind or spouting racist ideas, then YOU have the problem, not anyone else.
