Throw Back Thursday to 2017 when I won an Ironman national title as a sophomore in high school and paid the price with my face. First picture was taken after I won the finals and the second picture was taken the next morning. I remember I woke up, that next morning after competing, yelling and telling my wrestling buddies Trent Dooley and Cody Mirander that I couldn’t see out of both eyes. I just thought I’d post this to show how hard this sport really is and how wrestling is the ultimate testament of mental toughness and mental fortitude.
