The Midland University volleyball team went 13-19 under Coach Paul Giesselmann in his first season at the helm in 2010. Four years later the 2013 MU Volleyball Team rewrote the record books en route to the school's first-ever GPAC Postseason Tournament title and a trip to the National Championship Elite Eight. The Warriors went 37-5 (a new school record) under Coach G, who was just named the State College Coach of the Year by both the Lincoln Star Journal and Omaha World-Herald.
