What does a UofM degree mean to 𝗟𝘂𝗽𝗲 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻? “It means a better future for myself and those around me. It’s no longer just my privilege as a first-generation student but my family’s as well. Giron, from Eads, Tenn., is graduating from uofmfogelman. During her time as a student, she’s been involved with the Fogelman Student Delegate Board, Hispanic Business Student Association and sigmakappamemphis. “My experience at UofM has been focused around change. There were times it was tough to see myself where I was at, but I made it through each semester and year alongside people that I would not have met without coming to the UofM. I have become all the better for everything I’ve been through here.” Although Giron is graduating in May, she won’t be gone for long!
