Hi guys 👋🏼. For those of you who don’t know us yet, we are Daphne + Raquelle; the co-founders and mother/daughter team behind Daphne Newman. We are also the very proud new members of thefemalefoundercollective. We embarked on this self funded start up almost 4 years ago and are proud to say we still self funded to this day. Was it hard? Oh yes. Is it still hard? Most definitely. Did we have a choice? No. • • We built this brand with full time jobs and a serious amount of blood, sweat and tears (ok, lots of tears). But all that aside, we were introduced to the most incredible community of women and that has been a massive part of our success. They have been part of our journey since day one, celebrating, championing, supporting and talking us off of a cliff when we want to give up on it all.
