There is an African proverb that says, “Until the lion tells the story, the hunter will always be the hero" There is a need for Africans to tell African stories. For years , we've been silently listening to the hunter narrate the story of the hunt. It's about time we let the lion tell their story from their own perspective. The German King will be broadcast in Douala exclusively at The Forest creative Loft, Thursday August 31 at 7 p.m. in the presence of director and actor Adetokumboh M’Cormack, moderated by Stephanie Tum. The German King was written, directed and produced by Adetokumboh M’Cormack and features Cameroonian born, Black Panther star Constance Ejuma. It premiered at Ecrans Noirs Film Festival where it won Best International Short Film.
