Still got it! . More thoughts in the days to come, but for now I’m headed back home feeling happy and proud. After a couple of turbulent years, and some significant life changes, it felt really great to be back out on that competition floor. It took a couple of days, but by the end it felt like home again. Not every punch landed, but a few sure did and I competed with an intensity and urgency that don’t always tap into. Im still planning for the future, but it’s bright and I’m excited for what’s to come. . Thanks to all the fans who cheered this week, the volunteers who made the competition happen and all the competitors in the field. After last year I think I appreciated live competition more than I ever have before. .
