10 years + 3 day ago // 8.10.09 // My LOVE made the decision to take the reigns of his life by committing to enter a rehabilitation facility in order to help get the guidance, support & clarity he needed to be able to move forward in life in an empowered, clear-hearted & clear minded way. Whatever was next, I prayed for clarity to guide us. I will never ever forget how CRAZY scared, grateful & excited I was on this day. My world was shattering (it needed to) but there was hope because my Love had the courage to confront his challenges head on. There was hope because he was willing to give it a try & I was willing to do my part to clean up my own 💩. Because of this day and because of the fight we each took to shine a light on our inner darkness, the hurt, the anger, the self loathing, the shame and the broken dreams, the last 10 years of our lives have been the stuff of dreams. Nowhere near perfect (what the 🔥 is that anyway 🤔), but perfectly imperfect in its unfolding. I love Case...
