I woke up with the ☀️ today so I could put up posters around my beloved #LosGatos I received a ton of smiles, a few curious looks and some looks of obvious disapproval 🤨 All made me smile. One very nice lady asked me very sincerely, “is this what happens to all OLD professional athletes?! Putting up event posters on your hands and knees all over town?!” 😊 My ego wanted to take exception to the “old” comment, but I took a breath and allowed her to call a spade a spade ♠️ 40 does feel really good, and so ... 🤷‍♀️✌️🤙. It made me think about her comment and what it truly brought to the surface for me. In all sincerity, it led me down the path of AWE & total APPRECIATION BECAUSE - _ - _ - I AM a professional athlete in my 19th year. Holy 🔥!
