Athletes deserve to be inspired, not treated like second-class citizens, especially when competing at the college levels of their game. This spring we called out the NCAA for lack of fair treatment for women athletes. Now they’ve done it again. The Women’s College World Series happening in Oklahoma City has shown us that while the men’s College World Series lavishes gifts and perks on its teams, the women have to play doubleheaders in poorly equipped facilities with not a perk in sight. We want these women to feel appreciated for their hard work and commitment. That’s why we’re offering every player on the 8 participating teams, as well as staff, a free year of membership.
