We told you yesterday about the special connection Dream Kid Luke shares with Ladder 4 of gastoniafire and now Ladder 4 of fdny. These every day heroes put their life on the line daily to put out fires and protect their cities, but yesterday the firefighters of FDNY Ladder 4 had a big impact on Luke’s life in a different way. ❤️🚒 . . . It started with a visit to the nycfiremuseum led by former Ladder 4 member and retired firefighter of 28 years, Billy Carlson. When the towers were hit on 9/11, Billy was right there with his guys to help. He worked in the rubble for 3 months and helped rebuild Ladder 4. To say he was the best guy for Luke’s tour is an understatement. . . . Dream Kid Luke enjoyed his VIP tour of the museum and then it was off to Ladder 4 where he was greeted like a member of the team.
