There's nothing more exciting than nailing your first inversion, especially when it looks as cool as crow pose. Working on your crow practice? We've got the how-to. Plant your hands firmly on the ground a shoulder's length apart. Tip forward while standing so that your shoulders are over your wrists. Place your knees as far up on the top of the backs of your arms as possible. Practice shifting your weight forward, lifting your hips and bringing one toe up at a time. Keep your eyes focused on a drishti, or spot to focus on, a few inches above your hands. Work your way to floating both feet to the back of your arms. And hold! If at first it doesn't happen, keep at it! Poses like this don't always come immediately. Focus on your alignment, and one day you'll float up as if you've been able to do this pose your entire life.
