“I started doing yoga in high school – and back then I couldn’t even touch my toes. I wish I could say it’s something I immediately fell in love with, but I spent the first few years of classes not feeling as “zen” as I expected to. But slowly, I started to relax into it and understand that my poses didn’t have to be perfect, that I didn’t have to do yoga 3x a week (or even once a week) to be a yogi, and that I didn’t even always have to be in a studio in times when remote options fit my schedule so much better. Now, it’s one of my favorite times of the week.”
