The song wasn't out yet, so literally everyone was going to hear it for the first time live. It's one of my favorite songs on my new album, so I really built up this moment in my head. When carrieunderwood said my name and I stepped on that stage, within less than a minute my nervousness transitioned to pure joy and excitement as I saw a group of people in the front start waving their arms to the music. I can't tell you how much that meant to me, feeling your acceptance and excitement for the song.
