Before the end of the night, I had to take a second to shout out this crew and our coach johnny_flo. We held our in-house oly meet and it was a freaking blast, y’all. This isn’t our whole team (we super missed rgtercero and grifterbox ) but we made the best of it. . . We laughed. We made dumb handshakes. Chest bumps were had. We celebrated PRs. They comforted me when I missed my lift. These are my people. They have made my weeks of lifting feel a lot less like training and a lot more like hanging out with the best family. . . . I hit 1/3 for snatch and 3/3 for clean and jerk. It’s only up from here and I can’t wait to see where this program goes next.
