Have you been thinking about new ways to get around campus? As we head into the middle of Fall Quarter, UC San Diego continues its exciting transformation; faculty, staff, and students can check out a few new developments enhancing the campus experience. Digital Kiosks 📲 - Interactive digital kiosks have started to pop up on campus to assist with wayfinding. The kiosks provide real-time transit information, interactive maps, points of interest around the campus, and information on events, dining, artwork, and performances. Waypoint Indicators 📍 - The university installed more than 250 waypoint indicators on light poles throughout the campus. To use, simply point the camera of a smartphone to the QR code on the indicator, and a campus map will open, providing information about services, amenities, and points of interest in the area.
