Pronouns: He/Him/His Year: Class of 2022 (transfer) College: ERC Hometown: Tustin, CA "I chose UCSD mainly to get the feeling of living away from home while also getting to experience a great education from some of the best research professors in country. For me, it was also important to be involved in the student organizations around the campus and I found that UCSD cultivated an environment that allowed organizations to thrive. In particular as a transfer, I am really happy about how easy it was to make friends and how welcoming they all were to me even though I was a transfer while the majority of them were non-transfer students! I also really wanted to go to college that I could take a lot of landscape shots at and while the pictures that are posted around look beautiful, nothing could have prepared me for how it would look in person.
