True cross country weather & conditions out there today! Our Cardinals are Midwest tough and accepted the challenge. This season threw a ton of adversities at these athletes from coaching changes in early/mid September to key role player XC teammates being sidelined for covid or other life battles/puzzles and more, and through it all, they came together stronger for it. A few ran the best race of their season or of their life, a few were just shy of that, and we ALL left hungry for more in future seasons because we are competitive and want to grow this program to heights it's never been at and these athletes have a tall vision of what's to come. We see the bright spots between strong pack running, young grittiness, and a lot of heart, and are eager for the day we can combine each athlete's best individual effort on the same day to culminate into a really special team performance next year.
