John Briggs, at right in this 1963 photo, certainly handed down tricks of the trade to sons Harold, Hugh (standing from left) Jack, and Dick (on horseback from left). Briggs showed his sons how to maintain a good credit rating with their local Production Credit Association and Federal Land Bank.
