USA! USA! USA! On July 15, 2007, Doug Blakowski ’07 (dblack37) and Team USA captured the gold medal at the American Football World Cup in Kawasaki, Japan. He carried the ball 10 times for 55 yards in a 23-20 overtime win against two-time defending champion Japan. It was the third ever American Football World Cup and the first time the Americans participated.
