Today’s #TBT honors William Smith Head Lacrosse Coach Brighde Dougherty. Including an All-American playing career, she has spent 11 of the past 15 years at William Smith. Tomorrow marks her final day as the Herons’ head coach. She announced last month her plan to resign to pursue a career as an adventure therapist. In three seasons at the helm of her alma mater’s lacrosse program, Dougherty finishing in the top four in the Liberty League three times, including a pair of second place finishes. Thank you for your dedication and leadership and best of luck in your new career. We will miss you. Return to the nest often.
