On this date in 2005, the HWSColleges Sailing team won the CollegeSailing /GillGear North American Coed Dinghy Championship in Austin, Texas. The Colleges defeated second place Hawaii by 38 points. Just three days earlier, HWS won the program’s first national championship, the CollegeSailing / Layline North American Team Race Championship.
