I enjoy making scenes come to life and a great way to do this is with long exposures / light painting. Play around with different shutter speed settings from 1/4 to 10+ seconds and that will change the story you have captured. If you are wanting to keep everything sharp, you have the power in your Sony Alpha body to push your ISO up and not worry about noise. I like to look for symmetry and leading lines as well, so playing with different depths can help draw the viewer's eye in.
