Berkeley Haas professor Richard Lyons will take over as the next UC Berkeley Chancellor this summer after the UC Board of Regents voted to approve the appointment Wednesday. Lyons will take over from Chancellor Carol Christ effective July 1 with a salary of $946,000. “The fact that this place has literally transformed my life, that’s why we’re all here.
