There’s this idea that being mindful means taking in every tiny detail of the moment and really feeling it. I get that, but to me, being mindful is more about letting go of my expectations so I can better experience each moment.
I always want to be respectful of others, but sometimes my emotional disorder gets in the way. It’s not that I’m seeing things differently, but I tend to rush into things without thinking it through. I’m working on it though.
Here are a few things I’ve been trying to do lately:
* Take a deep breath before I say anything.
* Be open to new ideas and experiences.
* Be compassionate and understanding towards others.
* Appreciate the beauty in every moment.
* Maintain an open mind.
Imagine a world where hearts are open and minds are free, where every encounter becomes a tapestry of understanding and empathy. The more we can strive to see others’ perspectives, to cultivate gratitude, and to embrace life with a mindful approach, the easier it will all be.
