You don’t need me to tell you that everything in our world seems broken and messy right now. But really it should be quite simple. Treat others as you would want to be treated. There is no roadmap to navigating this road to change. But be kind to yourself and to others who are traveling on the same journey. There is a lot of room for error here and you’ll often pass failure on your way to success. That’s okay. Just keep going. We have to be willing to make mistakes in order to see progress. Continue to have honest and uncomfortable conversations with your children, donate if you are able, and support the organizations that are leading the way for change.
I hope with my whole heart that this time will finally be the turning point history books will write about. We owe it to our children to do better. To be better. It is up to each of us to collectively embrace this work as a lifelong journey, not a one time thing. I look forward to more researching and growing, listening and learning a...
