This year, we are asking you to #ImagineAWorld for the families of Connecticut Children’s. Today, we spent Child Health Day doing just that. We #ImagineAWorld with more joy, more opportunities and more carefree childhoods. A World where families no longer fear the unknown. A World where the every child can receive equitable healthcare and just be kids. Our yearlong efforts contribute to the Greatest Need Fund, which ensures no child is turned away from care. Connecticut Children’s provides life saving care to children of all races, genders, socioeconomic statuses, nationalities and immigration statuses. Why? Because these #KidsCantWait. As the sun sets on our world today, think about the 187 patients at Connecticut Children’s right now watching that same sunset. Despite us both watching the blue sky fade to black, our worlds are drastically different.
