Happy Child Health Day! Today we celebrate our commitment to the kids, educate ourselves on Children’s Health, and rally together both in-person and virtually. Right now, there are 187 hospital beds filled at Connecticut Children’s. In the midst of a global pandemic, there are still children receiving life-altering diagnoses and surgeries. These #KidsCantWait. As a free-standing children’s hospital, Connecticut Children’s relies on the generosity of its local community to provide life saving care to children of all races, genders, socioeconomic statuses, nationalities and immigration statuses. Health burdens should not become financial burdens, and the contributions to the Greatest Need Fund makes sure that no child is turned away from care.
