Soccer has been my passion my entire life, and photography came soon after. Being able to marry these two aspects of my journey onto the field this past Sunday for a rivalry as massive as Seattle vs. Portland felt surreal and monumental at the same time. The entire day was electric; there was an atmosphere that had me amped, and almost overwhelmed. The 8-year-old version of me was pinching myself trying to wake up from what was surely a dream.
