From our Racing page on Facebook, "Well, our first race in the new Late Model was a great success! One of the fastest cars all weekend! After a bad qualifying, Ryan had to start 7th in both 50 lap mains. In the first main, an early race scuffle caused Ryan to be unfortunately put to the rear. Ryan then worked his way from 10th to 4th and was making a last-lap pass for third when the caution came out ending the race. Could've been better but a very solid recovery! In the 2nd main, Ryan, again, started 7th but made some quick moves to the top 3. There, with about 10-15 laps to go, a very exciting battle began for 2nd between Ryan and his longtime friend Zack as they switched positions numerous times! On a restart with 5 to go, Ryan clipped the curb coming to green, causing the car to come out of gear and go into neutral, causing a wild stack-up throughout the field, all cars stayed straight, and Ryan settled for 3rd.
