#OsThrowback to this week in 1966 (May 8), Frank Robinson hit a 451-foot home run off Cleveland’s Luis Tiant, the only player to hit a fair ball completely out of Memorial Stadium. The first-inning blast gave the O’s a 2-0 lead on the way to an 8-3 win and a doubleheader sweep. The Orioles place a flag on the back of the left field bleachers where Robinson’s home run left the park, saying simply, “HERE”. #tbt #Birdland
