STUDENT SHOUTOUT! Christian Ministry Student Dessie Smith went on a mission trip a couple of weeks ago with the non profit Joy Comes! She was able to serve the people of Honduras and share the gospel! Here’s what she did on her trip👇 On my trip we focused on giving the kids and the people in the village some of the necessities they needed. For example we gave the kids masks and shirts and for the women we gave out sewing kits, toilet paper, seasonings, and some other kitchen/cleaning supplies. We shared the gospel with the family’s and invited them to a local church, some of the kids there hadn’t heard the story of Christ and just to watch the emotions cross there face when each part of the story was told was absolutely worth every mile we traveled to get there. 👏🙌 One of the biggest ways Jesus moved on this trip was through the language barrier, we were a small team of 3 trying to spread out over a hundred or so kids and we only had one translator so a lot of the time kids would ...
