Being part of the marketing department, I get to interact with many departments on campus, and being part of this Christ-centered institution is a gift. I did not even know about SWU before I started working here! I happened to drive by one day after taking my daughter to swim practice. My thought was ‘wonder if they have any job openings?’ I wasn’t even looking for a job! I went home and that night I looked at the website and saw the part time job in marketing and enrollment. I wrote my resume and sent it in, interviewed and have been here since! (I had been a stay at home mom and did freelance for 13 years to stay home with my girls.)
