For
#FridayIntroductions and
#NationalPublicHealthWeek, we would like you to meet 2011 SWU alumna Euphemia Binda! After graduating from SWU’s pre-medical biology program, Euphemia went on to complete a nursing degree, and now works at Memorial Health University Medicine Center in Savannah, Georgia. Euphemia is currently serving COVID-19 patients in critical care, so let’s join in thanking her and praying for her and those working the frontlines. 🙏
💙 What do you appreciate most from your experience at SWU?
The family spirit at SWU is the best; I felt at home during our welcome party! I remember having goosebumps when the University Singers sang at the reception. I felt comfortable participating in class with a small group of students who enhanced my learning experience. Dr. Walt Sinnamon was not just a professor and a mentor, he cared like a dad. I felt comfortable at SWU because everyone treated us like family; you don't see that anywhere else. It felt like home away from home.
