Happy #nationalreadacrossamericaday! One way that SWU empowers the future readers of our nation is through the state-funded Project Read grant. According to Program Coordinator Peggy Bodie, “this grant's purpose is to provide exceptional and unique training to K-5 and special services teachers of all grades in South Carolina using the Project Read® curriculum!” Our elementary education majors also get hands-on experience with literature in the children’s area, which is also open to the public!
