Meet Matt and Deborah Rhodes! We are excited to welcome this power couple of SWU grads to the chapel stage for Spiritual Emphasis Week! Matt and Deborah are church planters that recently moved back to SC after feeling God’s call to co-pastor Parkside Church in Greenville starting this fall. Deborah is also the administrative assistant for Student Life! We decided to ask them a few questions: • 🙌What are you excited for this week? “We’re both just excited to see how God will move in hearts and change lives. SWU was incredibly influential in our own spiritual journeys and we’re grateful to get to be a part of that for others through Spiritual Emphasis.” • 🎓What brought you both to SWU? Matt: “I wanted to study ministry and also SWU seemed like a fun place to be.” Deborah: “I visited campus and immediately knew that it was where I was supposed to be. It was the only college I applied to. After graduation I worked in Academic Records for a year and then was the RD in Stu-Be for 2 years....
